About
I'm a person who's spent a lot of time dividing myself among categories and obligations. Since I have fewer obligations these days, I spend more time in fewer categories.
My writing's not usually autobiographical, but it's definitely personal in shape and logic. It's things I can't stop thinking about, often through characters who aren't much like me, because above all else I want to learn and contextualize.
Over the last few years I've also been making visual art. It's often what I turn to when I want to write about something but can't yet. I've got no formal training in that and it shows, but you'll find samples of it around here because, well, it's become an important part of what I do. (I'm also working on being able to talk about it.)

By the way: I've had long exposure to people who navigate the world differently, so I tend to listen more than I talk. As a result, people sometimes mistake me for someone who is too nice, distant, or ready to nod along. But if you love honesty and skewing while whistling in the graveyard? We're probably good.
